The collection promotes self-analysis and encourages readers to reflect on areas of shame, hurt, and trauma to find steady footing to move forward from pains of the past. The collection is divided into three parts: Nasty focuses on fear, mourning, and harsh, hard to confront realities. Unpredictable highlights love, introspection, inspiration, and critiques a society that demonizes exploration. Nonsense promotes recovery, stillness, acceptance, and asserts that finding community leads to solidarity and serenity.
