Sourced from Madhya Pradesh, India, near the ancient quartzite caves of Bhimbetka and Daraki-Chattan Cupules, the soapstone used in our kit is some of the softest in the world, making it easy for kids to carve and create detailed sculptures. The kit includes everything kids need to create their masterpiece: a precut/semi-shaped soapstone, a safe-for-kids carving file, three types of sandpaper, environmentally friendly wax for polishing, a soft cloth, and a step-by-step instruction manual.

Carving with soapstone is a unique and natural experience compared to other carving kits, such as wood and pumpkin. The stone color varies from green to brown, reminding kids of their connection to Mother Nature.
