Every so often, you glimpse a pair of glowing eyes peeking out of the forest around you, curious about the fire and all the activity at the abandoned mine.

Your growling stomach pulls your thoughts away from the possibility of mountain lions, bears, and other predators, and you give your full attention to enjoying your dinner. A loud growl nearby recalls your mind to what's happening outside the mine.
