Author Biography

Kevin J. Cady joined the Portland, Maine Police Department in March 1985 and promoted to sergeant in May of 1999. In 2005 he became the emergency management director for the Town of Falmouth, Maine and also served as the harbormaster. During 2008 he was named deputy police chief with the Eliot, Maine Police Department and remained in that position until his retirement on July 15, 2010. Today he is the principal and lead investigator for Cady and Associates Investigation, Inc. - a private detective agency in Portland, Maine. Cady holds a baccalaureate degree in community and human services with a minor in criminal justice management from the State University of New York - Empire State College.
